On December 17, 2024, ASTEP partners, including colleagues from UNED and ANALISIS-DSC, represented the project at the European Projects Corner during the hybrid RedTES meeting in Barcelona.
The event focused on Thermal Energy Storage (TES) applications and gathered participants from universities, research centers, and companies. It provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and explore innovative solutions in the field of TES.
Key topics on the agenda included:
- Decarbonization of the cement sector
- Academia-industry collaboration to advance solar thermal solutions in urban areas
- Circularity and energy efficiency in the steel recycling sector
- Updates and discussions on the Red-TES cluster
The ASTEP team actively contributed to discussions, highlighting the project’s advancements and sharing insights on innovative TES solutions for industrial applications.
