On Friday, March 7, 2025, the ASTEP consortium met online for the 26th Scientific & Technical Committee (STC) meeting, where partners presented the latest advancements across all Work Packages.
We are thrilled to share a major milestone:
One of the ASTEP Pilot Units is set to be shipped to Mandrekas S.A. in Greece next month for further testing under Operational Conditions (TRL 5). This marks a significant step forward in demonstrating our innovative solar thermal system in real industrial environments.
The second Pilot Unit will follow at ArcelorMittal in Romania, with site visits being coordinated for both locations.
