The 2nd Solar Energy Helix event took place on the 20th of October in Madrid as part of our first in person progress meeting. This year, the Helix event focused on clustering with our sister projects and creating new collaboration opportunities for the upcoming Horizon Europe calls.
Taking advantage of the in-person meeting and the central location of UNED, our hosts, we invited 5 of our sister projects to present their work so far and to discuss potential synergies. Representatives from SHHIP-CO2, SCARABEUS, SWS-heating and Soltermin joined us in-person while COMPASsCO2 participated online.
In the first part of the event, each project presented their work so far and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about other projects. The second part was focused on collaboration and included a session on potential collaborations for the upcoming Horizon Europe calls, facilitated by one of ASTEP partners Juan Enriquez, Chief Executive Officer at ANALISIS-DSC, followed by dedicated networking time, during which participants were encouraged to have one to one meetings.
Following this event all participants were invited to join the Solar Energy Helix where they could continue their collaboration. If you are also interested in the upcoming Horizon Europe calls and would like to join the Helix community, get in touch.
